Writing has always been the Achilles heel for a lot of language learners and we are trying our best to provide a firm foundation for our students, avoiding the temptations of copying and chatgpts!! To help in the process, apart from other writings during the year, we run the Roald Dahl Creative Writing Competition annually.
The winners have now been announced for the Roald Dahl Creative Writing Competition 2022-2023 in ESO and BTX and a lot of them come from tutorial groups C!!
The quality of the stories was exceptional, some really original tales with a really impressive use of vocabulary by many and a good control over grammatical items, too.
BTX2 winner: Francisco Rosu (B) using amazing, native-like vocabulary, here with his tutor and English teacher, Joan Carles Esteve, & BTX1 winner: Pau Solanilla (C) with his story about not taking anything for granted.
